A couple of years ago I bought an external hard drive in order to backup my laptop. However, as hard as I tried, I couldn’t figure out how to do it. I attempted it a few times, I even asked a couple of people for advise.

Then one day, my computer crashed. I mean totally crashed. I gave it to the guy in my church who helps me with it and he couldn’t recover anything. So he found a place that did it like for the FBI. He mailed my hard drive and they said they could probably get about 85% my stuff. However, it was going to cost me a lot. But I had no choice, everything I had (family pictures, all my church work and documents, etc.) was on there.

The final bill – $1723.89. All because I never got around to finally figuring out how to back up my laptop.

That is the story I used to set up my series on THE SOMEDAY SYNDROME. Unfortunately, a lot of people procrastinate things that are a lot more important than backing up their hard drives.
